A Note From The President

Dear Serendipity Community,

Hello, my name is Jaden, and I am your student body president. I have been proud to be your president this year and also been proud of what we, your Student Council officers, have done as your leadership. Here are some of the highlights from this year as well as what is coming up for the rest of this year.

This year we have done many things. In October, on Halloween, we held a pumpkin carving contest. Students brought their pre-decorated or carved pumpkins in to school. The best pumpkins won prizes. In November, we had a donut sale and hosted the watermelon challenge booth at the Fall STEAM Fair. Did you see the explosion? Just before Winter Break we opened the Cocoa Cafe on PJ Day, one of our favorite traditions. For Valentines Day we prepared, sold, and distributed Valentine Grams. These Grams were especially sweet because they had a piece of candy attached.

We have a lot of events coming up still. March 17th will bring our Cupcake Decorating Contest, where each student will get to decorate a cupcake and be a “Cake Boss.” Plus we are really excited for Spirit Week and the Kick off Pep Rally on April 24th, not to mention our second annual 5th Grade vs. Alumni Games.

Our fundraisers have been so successful this year, and the entire Student Council would like to thank everyone who participated in each of our events. With your help, we have been able to raise a lot of money for our school and local charities.

Thank You for reading, and GO SQUIRRELS!

Jaden
