Our students are our school. The best way to get to know Serendipity School is to see our students in action.
Parents and guardians of prospective students are invited to experience our school’s unique vision and mission firsthand by taking a tour and witnessing how our students interact with learning, with one another, and within the school community. Tours are conducted in small groups, thereby affording both parents and the school staff a greater opportunity to become personally acquainted. Parents are introduced to Serendipity School’s exciting programs and curriculum, invited to experience the campus and classrooms in action, and given an opportunity to meet our dynamic faculty. Candid dialogue and questions are encouraged throughout the tour.
At the end of each school tour, parents receive a packet of information that highlights the school’s purpose and objectives; it further provides an overview of both the Core and Co-Curricular Programs, a copy of the school-year schedule, a schedule of fees and tuition, a description of the Before and After School Programs, an Application for Admission, and other relevant information and materials.
When an application and registration fee are submitted (along with supplemental information acquired from the prospective student’s current school and teacher), demonstrating the family’s sincere interest to enroll the child, the Director of Admissions contacts the parents/guardians to schedule a Visit/Shadow Day. All Kindergarten applicants are required to attend the scheduled Kindergarten Assessment Play Date, which includes fun games and activities carried out through small peer groups and one-on-one student/teacher interactions. 1st through 5th grade applicants should schedule a Shadow Day, during which time they will participate in the daily classroom and campus activities and sit for a brief written/verbal assessment with the Director of Admissions.
Our Director of Admissions offers tours October through February.
Tours are 9.15am–10.15am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, by appointment.
